The 1980's were times of change. In the 1980 presedential election we saw the begining of Reaganomics when Ronald Reagan defeated the encumbant Jimmy Carter "Mr. Peanut". Major events of the 80's included the fall of the Berlin Wall, which signified the end of the Cold War and the begining of a time of greater worldwide unity and cooperation. We also experianced the intoduction of the personal computer with ad campaigns such as "A computer on every desk". Also during this decade we saw the introduction of the internet an event that would change the way we would see the world forever.
